TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Psalms 43-45 chapters DEVOTION
Psalm 43:3 (AMP) “O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling places.”
Truth is reality, which is genuine and unchanging. Light is the illumination that reveals that reality.
The psalmist asks God for His light and truth to guide him back into God’s presence. He recognises that without God’s direction, he would be lost in confusion and darkness.
This points beautifully to Jesus in the New Testament. “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” John 14:6 “I am the light of the world.” John 8:12 Jesus is both the Light that removes darkness and the Truth that gives direction to our lives.
Sometimes life feels uncertain. You may feel stuck, confused, or surrounded by darkness, wondering where your life is heading. In those moments, remember Jesus, the Light of the world and the Truth that never fails or fades.
When you allow Him to lead your life, He gives you direction, clarity, wisdom, and even the strength to move forward when you feel that you can’t take the next step. God not only guides your steps but also gives you the momentum to keep going according to His will.
PRAYER
Lord, Your Word says that You are light and truth. Lead me according to Your will. Shine Your light on my path and guide me in Your truth in every decision I make. Remove confusion and help me walk closely with You every day. Amen.
