TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Psalms 31-33 chapters DEVOTION
Psalm 31:9 to 13 (NLT) read it for better understanding.
When your eyes are blurred with tears,
When your body and soul feel weak,
When grief is draining the life out of you,
When misery has stolen your strength,
When neighbours hate you,
When friends avoid and ignore you,
When people turn away upon seeing you,
When you have heard rumours about yourself,
When fear is on every side,
When enemies conspire against you,
When people plot to destroy your life.
In all these unfavourable situations, what is your response?
I totally understand it’s so painful even to imagine someone walking through such moments. Yet many silently carry these burdens every day. You don’t have to go through alone.
Let us see David response,
“But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, ‘You are my God!” Psalm 31:14 (NLT)
What an incredible love and commitment David had toward God. Even in heartbreak, betrayal, fear, and exhaustion, he chose to trust.
Thinking about David’s faithfulness toward God is truly humbling.
