TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalms 25-27 chapters
DEVOTION
Have you ever noticed how all of us long for friendship?
Deep within our hearts is a desire to be known, understood, accepted, and loved. We long for someone who stays through every season someone we can trust completely.
But he while human friendships can change or fail, Have you ever wondered about the friendship God offers?
“The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them its meaning.” Psalm 25:14 (AMP). The God who created the heavens, galaxies, oceans, mountains, flowers, and every living thing, desires a close and personal friendship with us. What an incredible truth, the Creator of the universe invites us into relationship with Him
In today’s world, friendships are often built on common interests, status, popularity, or benefits. But God’s friendship is different. His love is unconditional, faithful, and everlasting. He does not choose us based on wealth, appearance, or achievements. He simply desires hearts that honor and seek Him.
Psalm 25:14 reminds us that intimacy with God is found in reverence. When we respect Him, trust Him, and place Him above everything else, He draws us closer and reveals His heart to us.
If you ever feel lonely or unnoticed, remember this, Jesus desires to be your closest friend one who never leaves, never changes, and never fails.
How can we grow in friendship with God?
1.Honor and respect Him in daily life
2.Spend time with Him through prayer and Scripture
3.Trust Him wholeheartedly
4.Walk in obedience and humility
