20 OCTOBER 2026, DAY 291 – TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD

TODAY’s SCRIPTURE : Mark 12-14 chapters

DEVOTION

Mark 13:31

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

We live in a time where nuclear power reminds us of the immense destructive power humanity can unleash. The devastation it can cause is beyond what we can fully comprehend. Yet Jesus tells us that even heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word will never pass away.

Pause for a moment and understand the weight of these words. Everything around us may change, but the Word of God remains unchanging.

Imagine placing heaven and earth on one side of a balance and the Word of God on the other. Even if heaven and earth were to disappear, God’s Word would still stand. That is how powerful and trustworthy His Word is!

So, if God has given you a promise, hold on to it with faith. Don’t keep saying,

“May be it might happen?”

“Only if they favor me it might happen ”

No, if God said it, he’ll do it.

God’s ability to fulfill His Word does not depend on human circumstances. People may change, situations may change, and circumstances may seem impossible, but God remains faithful to His Word.

When God speaks, you can trust Him to fulfill what He has promised. Don’t allow fear, doubt, or uncertainty to weaken your faith. Stand firm on His Word and wait expectantly for its fulfilment.

Repeat after me

“God said it, and He will do it!”

PRAYER

Lord, thank You for Your Word and for the promises You have given me. I choose to trust You completely and stand firm on what You have spoken. Even when circumstances seem uncertain and I cannot see how Your promise will be fulfilled, strengthen my faith. I believe that Your Word will never fail and that You are faithful to fulfill what You have promised. I m waiting to see Your Word come to pass in my life. In Jesus name, amen.
