19 SEPTEMBER 2026, DAY 262 – CAN TWO WALK TOGETHER, UNLESS THEY AGREE?

TODAY’s SCRIPTURE : Amos 1-3 Chapters

DEVOTION

Amos 3:3 NKJV

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

For example, one person wants to travel to France, while another wants to travel to Switzerland. Can they both travel together on the same journey?

No, right.

When you have an unresolved conflict with someone, you may feel as though a wall has come between you and that person.

In the same way, in our relationship with Christ, do you have true harmony with God?

As human beings, we are often filled with sinful

desires. In contrast, God is perfect and holy. Being in true harmony with God requires a willing heart that seeks to align itself with His Word and His values.

At times, that harmony is disturbed when we allow sin to creep into our hearts and thoughts. That particular sin can become like a wall of separation between us and God.

so, what should we do?

Ask God to forgive our sins. Name them and confess them honestly in His presence. Receive His forgiveness and turn away from that sin.

As God forgives us, our fellowship with Him is restored, and we can walk in harmony with Him again.

Then, you and God can walk together as close friends throughout the journey of life.

PRAYER

Lord, I thank You for forgiving me. Give me a tender heart that responds even to the smallest prompting from You. Help me recognize and turn away from anything whether it is a person, habit, thought, or thing that draws me away from You. Help me to walk closely with You and remain in harmony with Your Word and Your will. In Jesus name, amen.
