TODAY’s SCRIPTURE : Isaiah 34-36 Chapters
DEVOTION
“And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.” Isaiah 35:8 NLT
Isaiah describes a “Highway of Holiness” a path God prepares for those who trust and follow Him. This road represents a life of faith, hope, and obedience. It isn’t promised to be free from hardship, but it is a path on which God Himself accompanies us.
This reminds us that, just as we sometimes wonder about the future or the path ahead, God already knows the way. He doesn’t simply point us in the right direction and leave us to walk alone. He promises His presence through suffering, uncertainty, pain, distress and every season of life.
When circumstances become difficult, God’s greatest gift is often not the removal of every trial but the assurance that He is with us. His presence gives strength, comfort, and hope until He brings us safely to His destination.
PRAYER
God, thank You for preparing a way for me and for walking beside me in every step of the journey. When I face suffering, uncertainty, or pain, I will only trust You, Your presence and follow Your path. Give me strength to walk in Your ways each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
