“Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
Psalms 150:6 NLT
In many ways, the book of Psalms reflects our spiritual journey through life. It begins by presenting two paths before us, the way of life and the way of death.
When we choose God’s way, the way of life, we still experience both blessings and challenges. We walk through seasons of joy and sorrow, success and obstacles. Yet through every season, God remains with us, guiding, encouraging, comforting, strengthening, and caring for us.
As we grow in wisdom and faith, we come to realize that God’s way is always the right way. Recognizing His faithfulness fills our hearts with gratitude and moves us to praise Him.
So, let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
The Challenge
Today, let’s take on a special challenge. In addition to your regular prayer and devotional time, spend 5 minutes praising God during your lunch break.
5 minutes praising God during your snacks break.
5 minutes praising God during dinner time.
I’m joining this challenge too, and we’re all in this together. Let’s intentionally set aside these moments to simply praise the Lord.
Get ready to PRAISE THE LORD!
PRAYER
Dear God, thank You for leading me in Your perfect and righteous way. Fill my heart with gratitude and let my life glorify You. As I praise You today, let Your presence surround me. Reveal the areas of my life that need to change, shape me to become more like You and continue to guide me in Your truth. In Jesus name, Amen.
