Isaiah 53:7 NLT
“He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.”
Jesus Christ lived a perfect and exemplary life. Even under immense pressure, false accusations, and unimaginable suffering, His response was marked by humility, self-control, and complete trust in the Father.

“Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.”
As followers of Christ, we are called to imitate Him, not only in moments of joy, but also in moments of pain, injustice, and opposition.
When you face adversity, how do you respond?
Do you feel the need to retaliate? To prove your point?
Do you exactly what they have done to you?
Jesus, though completely innocent, endured the greatest injustice without responding in anger or seeking revenge. His silence was not weakness but it was strength, obedience, and confidence in God’s perfect justice.
CHALLENGE
Today, whenever there’s every reason to argue, raise your voice, or retaliate. Shall we all try to imitate Christ?

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for showing us how to live through the life of Jesus Christ. On my own, I struggle to remain calm and silent when I am hurt or misunderstood. Today as I take up the challenge, help me and train me, and empower me by Your Spirit. May my words and even my SILENCE reflect Christ.
