TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Psalms 52-54 chapters DEVOTION
Psalm 54:4 (NLT) But God is my helper.
Do you recognize God as your helper?
Can you remember moments where He carried you through situations you thought you wouldn’t survive?
At just 14 years old, Frida Umuhoza witnessed the murder of her family during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. She was buried in a trench alongside 15 family members, yet she survived. Frida believes God miraculously helped her through that horrific moment. What’s even more powerful is this she chose forgiveness instead of holding on to bitterness.
She later visited the men who murdered her family and forgave them. The same God who helped Frida is the same God who helps you today.
Did someone betray you?
Did someone hurt you?
Did someone cheat you?
God is still your helper. No matter what hardship, pain, or battle you are facing right now, God sees you and stands with you. Even when the whole world feels against you, He remains faithful. The God who created the universe cares deeply about every challenge in your life.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for every way You have helped me until now. I seek Your help in every area of my life. Amen.
