23 JULY 2026, DAY 204 – DIFFERENT NEEDS, DIFFERENT CARE

TODAY’s SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 27-29 Chapters

DEVOTION
Isaiah 28:23–29
“A heavy sledge is never used to thresh black cumin; rather, it is beaten with a light stick. A threshing wheel is never rolled on cumin, instead, it is beaten lightly with a flail.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭28‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The farmer uses the right tools to plant and harvest each crop. Delicate herbs are not treated the same way as grain because the farmer understands their nature and handles them with care. His wisdom prevents unnecessary damage.

In the same way, God deals with each of us according to His perfect wisdom. He knows our strengths, weaknesses, circumstances, and limitations. He never treats us carelessly or harshly. Everything He allows in our lives has purpose and is measured by His wisdom and love. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us, God is faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to bear, but He will also provide a way through it.

God’s example teaches us an important lesson in how we treat others. Every person is unique, with different personalities, experiences, and needs. Instead of treating everyone the same with rigid expectations, we should be flexible, compassionate, and discerning. Sensitivity, patience, and kindness reflect the heart of God.

CHALLENGE
Today let’s all try to little sensitive, kind and be patient in dealing with others.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wisdom and the gentle way You work in my life. Help me to be sensitive to the needs of those around me. Give me discernment to treat each person with love, patience, and grace, just as You deal with me. May my words and actions reflect Your compassionate heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
