22 OCTOBER 2026, DAY 293 – YES LORD! WHATEVER YOU HAVE FOR ME

TODAY’s SCRIPTURE : Luke 1-3 chapters

DEVOTION

Luke 1:38 (TPT)

“Then Mary responded, saying, ‘Yes! I will be a mother for the Lord! As his servant, I accept whatever he has for me. May everything you have told me come to pass.’ And the angel left her.”

Throughout Scripture, we see different responses to God’s announcements of extraordinary births. Sarah, Abraham’s wife, laughed. Manoah, Samson’s father, was afraid. Zechariah doubted God’s promise.

But do you know how Mary responded?

She said, “I accept whatever he has for me.

Can you comprehend the weight of those words?

Mary was not responding from a place of comfort or certainty. She was accepting God’s plan despite the humanly impossible circumstances surrounding it. Her response demonstrated a heart of surrender.

Mary did not know how everything would unfold, but she was willing to trust the God who had spoken to her.

Our God is the God of the impossible!

What seems beyond human ability is never beyond His power. God’s instructions may sometimes challenge our understanding, stretch our faith, or lead us into unfamiliar circumstances. Yet our response to His Word should not be laughter, fear that holds us back or doubt that questions.

Instead, respond with hearts that is willing to trust and obey.

Like Mary, we must learn to say, “Lord, I accept whatever You have for me.”

Do you have a heart that is willing to accept whatever God says, even when you do not understand His plans?

Do you believe that God can accomplish the impossible in your life?

Are you willing to surrender your plans and allow His will to be done in you?

PRAYER

Lord, I choose to accept whatever You have spoken over my life. Even when things seem humanly impossible, help me to trust Your Word and remain steadfast in faith. Give me a heart like Mary’s heart that surrenders and says yes to Your will. I may not understand how everything will happen, but I believe that nothing is impossible for You. Let Your will be done in my life. In Jesus name, amen.
