TODAY’s SCRIPTURE : Zechariah 7-9 Chapters
DEVOTION
“This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people. But is it impossible for me? says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” – Zechariah 8:6 NLT
The remnant was the small group of Israelites had returned from exile, but everything around them looked discouraging. They were struggling, and facing constant opposition.
Yet God asked them a simple question
“Is it impossible for Me?”
Sometimes our situation looks impossible because we have tried again and again which yields no result. But what is impossible in our eyes is never too difficult for God.
I recently heard about a man who attended 23 interviews and was rejected every time. Yet he continued to trust God. At his 24th interview, he was selected by one of the best companies.
Maybe you are facing your own “23rd rejection” today.
Don’t give up.
The Bible says, “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” Proverbs 24:16
Rise again. Dust off the disappointment. Try once more.
You may not know when the breakthrough will come, but you can trust the One who does.
What seems impossible to you is not impossible for God.
PRAYER
Lord, when life gets difficult and I feel like giving up, give me the courage to try again. Help me trust You even when I cannot see the way forward. I surrender my plans, my fears, and my future into Your mighty hands.
Give me the strength to rise again and the faith to believe that nothing is impossible for You. In Jesus name, amen.
