DEVOTION
Isaiah 60:20 KJV
“Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.”
This verse points to God’s enduring presence and faithfulness. His light is not limited by changing seasons or circumstances. While earthly sources of light come and go, the Lord remains constant. He is our everlasting light.
When God is your light, you can trust Him to provide what you need. His presence brings hope, strength, and peace in every season of life. No situation is beyond His care, and no darkness is too great for His light.
If you are walking through a difficult time today, remember that the Lord is your everlasting light. Hold on to His promises, because He is faithful. The season of mourning will not last forever. In His perfect time, He brings comfort, restoration, and renewed joy.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my everlasting light. Thank You for Your constant presence and unfailing faithfulness. Thank You that You comfort those who mourn and that You are able to bring joy after sorrow. Strengthen my faith as I wait on you . In Jesus name, Amen.
