DEVOTION
“But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

What a beautiful promise!
The old covenant was written on stone, but God promised a new covenant one that would be written on our hearts. This promise was fulfilled through Jesus Christ. Because of Him, we don’t have to live distant from God. We can know Him personally, walk with Him daily, and experience His love and grace in our lives.
Jeremiah looked forward to the day when this promise would be fulfilled. We are living in the blessing of that promise today.
Maybe you’ve known about Jesus for a long time, or maybe you’re hearing about Him for the very first time. Either way, His invitation is the same that’s come just the way you are and he is going to begin something new in you. You simply need to be willing to open your heart and trust Him.
PRAYER
Dear Jesus, I invite You into my heart and into every area of my life. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and giving me a new beginning. Write Your Word on my heart and help me know You more deeply each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
