12 JUNE 2026, DAY 163 – LIVING A BLAMELESS LIFE

TODAY’s SCRIPTURE: Psalms 100-102 Chapters

DEVOTION

Psalm 101:2 (NLT) “I will be careful to live a blameless life.” What does it mean to be blameless? To be blameless is to live with integrity and a heart devoted to God. David is not speaking about sinless perfection but about pursuing a life that honors God in thought, word, and action.

How Can We Walk in Blamelessness?

  1. Guard Your Eyes (Verse 3) “I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar.” What are you allowing your eyes to focus on throughout the day? If your viewing habits were displayed before God, would they please Him? What we repeatedly watch shapes our thoughts, influences our desires, and eventually affects our actions. Be intentional about what you allow into your mind.

2. Stay away from evil (Verse 4)

“stay away from every evil.”
Are there influences in your life that are drawing you away from God? Rejecting evil requires daily dependence on God. Sometimes living a blameless life means walking away from a habit, relationship, friendship, or activity that is leading you away from Him. It may be difficult, but God always honors obedience.

You may wonder, “If I give up these things, what will I have left?” The answer is simple, you will have Jesus. He is enough for every season, every need, every joy, and every struggle. Nothing we surrender for Christ can compare to what we gain in Him. Living a blameless life is not merely about avoiding sinful influences. It is also about allowing God’s Word to shape our values, guide our decisions, and set the standard for how we live.

PRAYER

Lord, thank You for clearly showing us in Your Word the things we should avoid. Thank You that through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, I am made righteous before You. I cannot live a blameless life in my own strength, so I ask for Your help. Guard my eyes, protect my heart, and keep me away from evil. Help me to honor You in all that I do and to walk in integrity each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
