TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : psalms 1-3 chapters DEVOTION
Psalms 2:11 (AMP) “Worship the Lord and serve Him with reverence, rejoice with trembling.” This verse reminds us of the beautiful balance between reverence and joy in our relationship with God.
True worship comes from recognizing His greatness, holiness, and power with deep awe and respect. Reverent fear is not about being afraid of God, but about honoring Him with obedience, humility, and surrender. It is acknowledging that He alone is worthy of all glory.
“Rejoice with trembling” reveals the wonder of being in God’s presence. It is the overwhelming joy of experiencing His grace, mercy, and love while still standing in awe of His majesty. Let us worship God with hearts full of reverence and rejoice in His presence with holy awe.
PRAYER
Lord, help me worship You with reverence and rejoice in Your presence with a heart full of awe and gratitude. Amen.
