TODAY’s SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 62-64 Chapters
DEVOTION
“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.”
Isaiah 64: 4 KJV
This verse gives us an incredible promise. It reminds us that God has prepared wonderful things for those who patiently wait for Him.
Waiting is not easy, especially when nothing seems to be changing. You may have been praying for years without seeing an answer. It may feel like God keeps asking you to wait. Years pass by and everyone around you seems to be moving forward, but you hardly see any change in your own life. You may even feel as though you’re in the same place you were five years ago.
In moments like these, can you still choose to trust God?
I know it’s hard but trust Him even while you wait. His timing is always perfect, even when you cannot understand it. As you continue to wait with faith, God is working in ways you cannot yet see.
His plans for you are greater than anything you could imagine. He is able to do things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived for those who love Him and wait on Him.
Keep trusting. God’s best is yet to come!
PRAYER
God, thank You for Your wonderful promises. Waiting is difficult, but I choose to trust You and Your perfect timing. Strengthen my faith as I wait. In Jesus name, Amen
