TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : psalms 7-9 chapters DEVOTION
In Psalm 8 chapter says that the God who created the sky, the moon, and the stars is thinking about you. It is difficult to fully comprehend His love. When we look at the vastness of creation planets, galaxies, mountains, and oceans, we may feel small and insignificant. Yet God deeply loves and cares for each one of us.
This Psalm reminds us that God created humanity “a little lower than the angels,” and some translations even say “a little lower than God.”
What an incredible honor and privilege!
Though we are small compared to the universe, we are precious in His sight. The next time you question your worth or feel insignificant, remember this truth that your value does not come from the opinions of people, riches you hold, the knowledge you possess, how you look or the standards of the world.
Genesis 1:27 (NLT) “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Your worth comes from the God who created you in His image. Because God has already declared how valuable we are to Him, we can live free from feelings of worthlessness and walk confidently in His love and purpose.
IF YOU FEEL WORTHLESS LET THE TRUTH SINK IN YOUR HEART.
God loves you just the way you are. You are marvellous, wonderful, precious, highly valued in his sight.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for the worth You have placed in me. Help me to live a life worthy of Your calling and purpose. Amen.
