TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Job 10-12 chapters DEVOTION
Job 10:1 (NKJV) “My soul loathes my life, I will give free course to my complaint, I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.” When life throws challenges our way, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed. Like Job, we may find ourselves speaking out of pain, expressing deep anguish and confusion. In such moments, self-pity can creep in, leading us toward self-righteous thoughts like
“Why me?”
“This is so unfair.”
We may even begin to blame God or those around us. But Scripture reminds us that trials are not meaningless but have a greater purpose.
1 Peter 1:6-7 (NIV) tells us that these trials come to test the genuineness of our faith and a faith more precious than gold, refined by fire.

Praise and Glory to God
God uses every trial as a refining fire not to destroy us, but to shape us, purify us, and strengthen us. We all cherish mountaintop moments times of joy, peace, and clarity. But we are not meant to stay there forever. Growth doesn’t happen on the mountaintop. Growth occurs in the valley. In the valley where it feels cold, harsh climatic conditions means uncertain, and difficult. It is in these seasons that our character is shaped, our faith is strengthened and bears fruit. Fruits grow best in the valley such as Apple, apricot.
Saffron which is used in making (world’s best) Hyderabadi biryani is best grown in Himalayan valley.
If you are walking through a valley today, remember but a place of refinement. God is making you fruitful, stronger, and more like Him.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for every trial, challenge, and test You have allowed in my life. Thank You for refining. Strengthen my faith and use my life as a testimony to encourage others. Amen.
