DEVOTION
“The Lord will work out his plans for my life, for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.” Psalm 138:8 NLT
Everyone has dreams, goals, and plans for the future. We work hard to achieve them, but sometimes we forget to invite God into the planning process. Think about it, the designer of a mobile phone knows exactly how it is meant to function. In the same way, the God who created the universe, the sun, moon, stars, and each one of us, knows what is best for our lives. No one understands us better than our Creator.
When we surrender our dreams and plans to God, we are not giving up our future we are placing it into the hands of the One who sees the end from the beginning. He refines our desires, redirects our steps when needed, and accomplishes His perfect plan in His perfect timing. God’s faithful love never fails, and He will complete the good work He has planned for your life.
As you make plans and dream about your future, don’t leave God out. Pray over every decision, seek His guidance through His Word, and trust Him to lead you on the right path. His direction always brings the best outcome.
PRAYER
Dear God, thank You for the wonderful plans You have for my life. Today, I surrender my dreams, goals, and passions into Your hands. Lead me according to Your perfect will and help me trust Your timing. Shape my heart to desire what You desire for me, and let my life fulfill Your purpose. Amen.
