TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Daniel 10-12 Chapters
DEVOTION
Daniel 10:13
Daniel prayed to God, and God heard his prayer immediately. Yet, the answer took 21 days because of an unseen spiritual obstacle.
During those 21 days, Daniel continued to pray faithfully. He persisted in prayer and fasting until God’s messenger eventually arrived with the answer.
Perhaps you have been praying for days, months, or even years, but you don’t see anything changing in your life. Maybe you feel like your life is stagnant or that you are not moving forward.
Remember that there is an unseen spiritual world, and Scripture shows us that spiritual opposition can hinder the fulfillment of God’s answers. Therefore, we should not become discouraged when answers do not come as quickly as we expect.
Our prayers may face opposition from unseen forces, but we are called to pray fervently, persistently, and without ceasing. Acts 12:5 reminds us to pray fervently and in a persistent way.
So, let us continue to pray with faith and perseverance. Do not give up praying simply because you do not yet see the answer. keep praying without ceasing.
PRAYER
Lord, I feel so tired of waiting for the answers sometimes. Yet I’ll continue to pray earnestly, without ceasing until I receive the answer. In Jesus name, amen.
