DAY 16- PATH TO BREAKTHROUGH

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Exodus 5-8 chapters

DEVOTION

“Pharaoh’s heart remained hard and stubborn.” – Exodus 7:13(NLT)

He hardened his heart again in Exodus 8:15

“But Pharaoh again became stubborn and refused to let the people go.” – Exodus 8:32 (NLT)

Let’s dive into what often happens right before a breakthrough. It can feel like all hell has broken loose :

Suddenly lost a job,

Financial struggles(you might not know where your next meal is coming from),

Feeling stuck and going nowhere,

Frustration, stress, and exhaustion,

Being overwhelmed by everything around you.

This is exactly what the Israelites experienced in Egypt. God sent Moses and Aaron to rescue them from slavery, a joyful promise!

Yet instead of things getting easier, Pharaoh’s heart grew harder and more stubborn day by day. The Israelites might have wondered, “If God is with us, why is everything getting worse?”

Even we might think if god is with us, why is everything getting worse?

But right before a great breakthrough, God is working behind the scenes moulding, shaping, and preparing the hearts and minds of His people for what is ahead. Sometimes, when people harden their hearts toward us, remember child of God it’s part of God’s design. Not to break us, but to deepen our dependence on Him.

In such moments:

Hold on to God more tightly.

Become more dependent on Him.

Trust that He is preparing you Your breakthrough is ahead.

 PRAYER

Dear God, thank you for the hardened hearts, difficult seasons and people in my life. I trust that they are part of Your plan and purpose. Mould me, shape me, and prepare me for the breakthrough ahead. Be with me and guide me. In JESUS name,

Amen.
