TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : Genesis 37–40 chapters
DEVOTION ( Inspiration – pastor vlad savchuk )
Joseph’s life teaches us a powerful truth . God works through various seasons. If we divide Joseph’s journey into FOUR DAYS can clearly see how God moves step by step.
DAY 1
THE DREAM
Joseph receives a dream from God. He sees his bundle of grain standing tall while others bow, and even the sun, moon, and stars bow before him. This was God’s promise over his life. Just like Joseph, we too feel excited when God gives us a dream, a calling, or a promise.
DAY 2
THE PIT & THE PALACE
Almost immediately, Joseph is sold as a slave and taken to Egypt. From a dreamer to a servant, what a fall! Yet God was still at work. Sometimes God allows us to walk through valleys to build strength and endurance in us. Be comfortable being uncomfortable, God is shaping you.
DAY 3
PRISON
Joseph is falsely accused and thrown into jail not because of sin, but because of his integrity. Even in prison, Joseph doesn’t become bitter. He continues to serve others and interprets their dreams. His eyes were still fixed on what God would do next.
DAY 4
THE PALACE
At the age of 30, Joseph is lifted from prison to become the ruler of Egypt. In one moment, God turns his pain into purpose.
The Pattern of God Joseph’s life:
God gives a promise
↓
God tests and shapes
our character
↓
God brings honour
and fulfillment
You may be in any one of these seasons today it could be dreaming, waiting, struggling or rising. But remember this, God is in control of every season. If God has promised you something, hold on, Wait patiently. Endure faithfully. Just like Joseph did . God will bring it to pass.
PRAYER
Dear God, Help us walk through every season of our lives with courage and confidence, knowing You are in control. Strengthen our faith as we wait for Your promises to unfold.
In JESUS name,
Amen.
