TODAY’s SCRIPTURE: Psalms 109-111 Chapters
DEVOTION
There are times in life when circumstances seem unfair, and we may wonder why God would allow certain things to happen. One who prays faithfully, reads His Word daily, serve in church, care for others, and strive to live according to His will. Yet, despite our efforts, one may face setbacks, delays, or seasons where nothing seems to move forward. Looking around, it can even appear as though those who pay little attention to their spiritual lives are progressing more than who are spiritual.
In such moments, Psalm 111:7 reminds us of an important truth which is “All he does is just and good.” If God has allowed something into our lives, we can be confident that it serves a purpose, even if we cannot see it right now. What feels confusing, painful, or disappointing today may later reveal itself as part of His wise plan.
Instead of constantly asking,
“Why is this happening?”
“Why me?”,
let us choose to trust God’s heart. Though the journey may be difficult, we can thank Him for His faithfulness and believe that He is working all things for our good. His ways are always just, His plans are always good, and He remains worthy of our trust in every season of life.
PRAYER
Dear God, it’s very difficult to go through this, but I know you are just and good. I trust you alone with all my heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
