31 MAY 2026, DAY 150 – GOD HEARS EVERY COMPLAINT

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalms 64-66 chapters DEVOTION

Context of psalms 64th chapter :

The psalmist cries out to God for protection from those plotting against him. “O God, listen to my complaint. Protect my life from my enemies’ threats.” Psalm 64:1 (NLT)

The psalmist speaks honestly to God about his fears and troubles. Life gives us many reasons to complain, problems at school, college, work, relationships, or situations that seem unfair. While the world may not always listen to our concerns, God is never too busy to hear us. God cares not only about our victories and celebrations but also about our struggles, disappointments, and fears.

The psalmist faced people who secretly conspired against him, and at times we may feel that others are working against us as well. Yet nothing is hidden from God. He sees every plan, hears every word, and knows every motive.

When people speak against God’s children, He remains our defender. We can trust Him to protect us and to bring justice in His perfect time. Rather than living in fear, let’s keep our eyes on Him. What should we do while we wait for God’s intervention?

Keep praising Him. Thank Him for His protection both the dangers you know about and the countless ones you never see. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and in His timing, He will bring deliverance and honour to those who remain faithful to Him.

PRAYER

Lord, thank You for protecting me from every plan of the enemy. Thank You for the dangers You have revealed and for the countless protections I may never know about. Help me to trust You, praise You, and rest in Your care. In Jesus name, Amen.
