13 APRIL 2026, DAY 103 – SHOUT WITH A GREAT SOUND

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE : II Chronicles 13-16 chapters

DEVOTION

Context

This passage describes the battle between Abijah and Jeroboam. Judah had 400,000 warriors, while Israel had 800,000, double the number. Naturally, Judah seemed outnumbered and overpowered.

II Chronicles 13:15 (NKJV) “Then the men of Judah gave a shout, and as Judah shouted, it happened that God struck the men of Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.”

There is an important action here”THE SHOUT.” It wasn’t just a noise, was a shout of praise in faith, a declaration of trust in God even before victory was visible.

When problems outnumber you,

When challenges look bigger than your strength, When situations seem impossible,

What is your response?

Do you complain in fear, or do you praise God in faith and declare your trust in Him even before you see the victory?

“So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.”

Joshua 6:20 NKJV

              People shouted

(praise God in faith and declare your trust in him)

                            ↓

                   God acted

                            ↓

               Became victorious

It is choosing praise instead of panicking. Yes, it is not easy. It takes strength to praise when you’re overwhelmed with problems around you. It takes faith to rejoice when nothing seems to change.

BUT

Will you still lift your voice in faith when everything around you says otherwise?

Choose to shout not in fear, but in faith. Because when you do, God moves.

PRAYER

Lord, thank you for the victory you are going to give me today, Amen. ‎
