DEVOTION
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants [making them determined and unresponsive], so that I may exhibit My signs [of divine power] among them,”- Exodus 10:1 (AMP)
God told Moses to go forward, even though He already knew Pharaoh would resist. That sounds confusing, right? But here’s the truth, resistance doesn’t mean God is against you. Sometimes resistance means God is about to show His power through you.
You decide to follow God seriously and say no to peer pressure, take a stand for God , Choose faith over fear and suddenly People misunderstand you, Doors don’t open quickly, Things get harder, not easier That doesn’t mean you chose the wrong path.
It means God is using your situation to reveal His glory. Don’t Quit, Press Forward God didn’t ask Moses to turn back. He said, “Go.” When you face opposition, don’t panic, don’t go backward, be courageous, Keep moving forward.
True Story: Ernest Shackleton
Ernest Shackleton,an irish explorer, led an expedition to Antarctica (1914–1917). His ship was crushed by ice, the mission looked like a total failure. But Shackleton didn’t retreat or give up despite the resistance. For nearly 2 years, he kept leading, hoping, and moving forward. As a result all 28 crew members were saved.
This story reminds us to keep moving forward no matter the resistance or opposition.
Being in God’s plan doesn’t mean life will be easy.
It means God partners with you. Faith is not passive. Faith means taking steps even when you’re scared.
If God told you to move – MOVE
If there’s resistance DON’T RETREAT
If it’s hard remember, God is still working.
Your obedience today may become someone else’s miracle tomorrow. so keep going child of God.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, even when things don’t make sense, help me trust You. Give me courage when I face resistance. Use my life to display Your power and glory. I surrender my plans, my fears, and my future to You. In JESUS name ,
